A timeless monster is back!
Monster trucks are pickup trucks that have been tuned up with extra-large tires and powerful engines. They are especially popular in the United States, where they race on special circuits in stadiums and make spectacular jumps over cars lined up in a row. The same goes for RC cars, and many RC monster trucks have been released. Among them, the 1/8 scale "USA-1" sold by Kyosho in the 1990s was produced with the approval of the prestigious real monster truck team USA-1, which led the American monster truck scene in the 1980s and 1990s, and was popular for its scale-rich body and high driving performance. The USA-1 has been revived in the 21st century with a new body and new chassis. The body was produced with a new mold for this renewal. The USA-1's "ULTRA SCALE BODY" has a shape and construction comparable to that of a display model, and is characterized by its form and details, with the iconic American flag graphic also being a highlight. The chassis is based on the conventional Mud Crusher & FO-XX equipped with shaft-type 4WD and 5-link suspension, but each part has been strengthened and updated, and it is equipped with an improved engine with easier needle adjustment. With a 3-speed automatic transmission for a thrilling acceleration feeling and a full-scale suspension for outstanding running performance, it is a finish that does not disgrace the name of the prestigious team USA-1 not only in looks but also in driving. The kit is sold as a fully assembled ready set, so it is attractive that you can drive it immediately after purchase.
- The chassis and body are fully assembled, and RC mechanisms including a wheeled synchro KT-231P + transmitter are included.
- The 5-link suspension is combined with a shaft-type 4WD to achieve stable driving even on rough roads.
- Waterproof KS5071-09MW servo is used. The gears inside the servo are made of metal and are highly durable.
- The realistic ultra-scale body is licensed by USA-1. The distinctive coloring is also reproduced.
- The head and tail lamps and roof fog lamps can be equipped with a separately sold LED light set
- Equipped with a new KE25SP2 engine with easier needle setting. A break-in ring for engine break-in is also included.

The chassis combines a sturdy frame with a 5-link suspension and a shaft-type 4WD system. It transmits the powerful engine power to the road surface reliably, delivering driving performance that rivals the real thing. Sold as a Readyset with RC mechanism already installed.
The newly manufactured polycarbonate resin body is licensed from USA-1. The grille, bumper, carburetor, mirrors, roll cage, etc. are reproduced as resin parts molded separately from the body. The bumper is attached to the chassis side, giving it an excellent feel of a real car. The five fog lights on the roof are removable. The size ratio of the body and tires is almost the same as the real car.
The dummy carburetor, which also serves as an accent in appearance, protrudes from the bonnet when the body is attached, emphasizing that it is a hyper unit. Combined with the sound of the power engine mounted on the chassis, it creates a great atmosphere.
Equipped with the KE25SP2 engine, which is an improved version of the conventional KE25SP. The slow needle is now easier to adjust, making it easier to extract power. A recoil starter is standard equipment, eliminating the need for an external starter, and various adjustments have been optimized at the factory.
A three-speed automatic transmission that makes effective use of the engine's power band. At low speeds, the engine's torque is utilized to provide sharp acceleration characteristics, while the second gear covers the mid-range where torque tends to be insufficient. This also achieves a sufficient increase in top speed.
The front and rear axles are equipped with a differential unit that uses metal pinion gears. It transmits the power of the 25-class (approximately 4.2cc) engine to both the left and right tires without any loss, and skillfully absorbs the difference in rotation between the left and right tires when cornering, providing stable traction.
The rigid front and rear axles have little loss of drive power, and the link-type suspension is controlled by five links. It has excellent compliance with uneven road surfaces and is strong enough. The large-capacity oil damper reliably absorbs shocks from the road surface.
The housing that holds the tires has also been strengthened. Its crash resistance has been greatly improved, and it will not give in even under high power and rough roads. By using optional parts to install 4WS (four-wheel steering), you can further improve cornering performance.
The 5-link suspension provides ample stroke, and the big tires allow you to overcome large obstacles with ease. Lateral rods are standard equipment on the front and rear to increase the lateral rigidity of the suspension.
